Motorola Razr 40 & Razr 40 Ultra launching on June 1

Motorola will launch not one but two clamshell foldables this year, and if you do not know yet, the phones are named Motorola Razr 40 & Razr 40 Ultra. Today, Motorola announced that these two phones are launching on June 1, that is, in a couple of weeks.

MOTOROLA RAZR 40

The Razr 40 will be an affordable clamshell foldable from the brand, and that’s evident from the tiny cover display,  which is smaller than the one on last year’s Motorola Razr. It is smaller than the one on the first foldable Motorola Razr launched in 2019.

The phone is reportedly launching in Europe at €899 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration.

MOTOROLA RAZR 40 ULTRA

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will be a top-of-the-line foldable from the brand, and the main USP is the cover display. We know the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a 3.4-inch cover display, the largest among all the clamshell foldables in the market. But the Razr 40 Ultra will have an even bigger display at around 3.5-3.6 inches. The display goes around the dual camera setup, and it looks pretty cool.

The Razr 40 Ultra is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC, a 3,640mAh battery, and 33W fast charging support.
