When it comes to Android tablets, Motorola has launched two tablets so far – Moto Tab G20 & Moto Tab G70. Today, the company launched its third Android tablet in India, the Moto Tab G62. This tablet starts at ₹15,999, and for the price, you are getting a Snapdragon 680 chipset, a 7,700mAh battery, and Android 12 out of the box. It sounds like a pretty good value for money because, at this price range, you get Android tablets like the Realme Pad, Galaxy Tab A8, Lenovo Tab M10, etc. and the Moto Tab G62 seems a better deal than those.
Design-wise, the Moto Tab G62 has a dual-tone finish on the back panel & the Motorola logo in the middle. There is also the ‘Dolby Atmos’ branding on the back because this tablet has four speakers and supports Dolby Atmos. The design is also quite premium as the tablet features a metal build. The tablet does not miss out on the essential ports since the 3.5mm headphone jack is on the bottom alongside the USB Type-C port.
In terms of dimensions, the Tab G62 weighs around 465g, and the thickness is 7.45mm.
On the front, Moto Tab G62 has a 10.6-inch display, and it is an LCD with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels which is also known as a 2K resolution among tablets. This is a regular 60Hz panel, so no high refresh rate is present. Under the hood, there is the Snapdragon 680 SOC which Motorola also offers in its phones in this price segment. There is only one storage option that has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, but the tablet does offer a microSD card slot, so you can expand the storage up to 1TB.
There is an 8MP camera on the rear, as well as on the front. Finally, the battery size is 7,700mAh, and there is 20W fast wired charging support as well. Android 12 runs out of the box.
Moto Tab G62 comes in only one color – Frost Blue. Here is the pricing –
4GB + 64GB (WiFi Only) – ₹15,999
4GB + 64GB (LTE) – ₹17,999
The WiFi-only variant is already up for sale on Flipkart, but the LTE variant can be pre-ordered now and will go on sale on the 22nd of August.
