In case Motorola doesn’t change its naming scheme, the successor of this year’s Moto G9 Play will be the Moto G10 Play. Today, we got our first look at the Moto G9 Play’s successor as the CAD-based renders of the phone were shared by OnLeaks. These renders give us a pretty good look at the overall design of the phone. The phone goes by the model number “XT-2117” & it is still unconfirmed whether it would indeed launch as the G10 Play.
Anyways, talking about the design, the alleged Moto G10 Play features a hole-punch design on the front as opposed to the Waterdrop notch on the Moto G9 Play. So, the single selfie shooter is placed on the top left corner of the display inside a circular camera cutout. While the G9 Play has a rear-facing fingerprint reader, the successor has one on the side & it also doubles as the power button.
There is a square-shaped camera module on the rear placed in the middle & it includes three cameras in it & the LED flash. The Moto G9 Play has the same rear-design with the only difference being the arrangement of the sensors. The 3.5mm headphone jack is placed on the top while the USB Port is there on the bottom.
The FCC certification has already revealed that the Motorola “XT-2117” comes with a 4,850mAH battery. The display size will be around 6.5-inches & the phone is 10.4mm thick when the camera bump is included as well. There is no information regarding the rest of the specifications yet.
