Moto Edge X30 officially confirmed to feature dual 50MP cameras

And not to forget, a 60 Megapixel selfie camera!

A month ago, we got to see the design of the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, which is launching in China as the Moto Edge X30. We also got to know the major specifications of that phone, which included some really interesting things such as a 60 Megapixel camera for selfies and not one but two 50 Megapixel sensors on the rear. Well, now, Motorola has officially confirmed the same on its Weibo page a few days before the official launch of the phone in China. If you don’t know, the Edge X30 is set to launch in China on the 9th of this month.

On its Weibo page, Motorola revealed that the phone indeed has two 50MP sensors on the back & there are three rear cameras in total. As we know via previous leaks, the third camera is most likely a telephoto unit with an 8MP sensor. The company also officially announced that on the front, Moto Edge X30 gets a 60MP sensor, perhaps the most megapixels we have ever seen for the selfie shooter.

Apart from the cameras, Motorola has already revealed that the phone has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 68W fast charging. Also, there is a 144Hz 10-bit OLED on the front with Full-HD+ resolution. And last but not least, the phone gets the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

Well, this is shaping up to be one of the best flagship phones that Motorola has launched to date, so it would be interesting to see at what price those phone launches in China, considering that this is definitely the first phone to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. And as we mentioned in the beginning, this phone is coming to the global market as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.
