This is how the Moto E20 from Motorola looks like

It is an entry-level phone from the brand codenamed

We hope you haven’t forgotten the Moto E series from Motorola that includes the cheapest phones that the company launches every year. Last year, we got the Moto E7 series that includes phones such as E7 Power, E7i Power, E7 Plus, and the regular E7. Well, Motorola is changing its naming style a bit as the upcoming phone under the E series is not the E8 but rather the Moto E20. So, the company is doing the same thing it did with the Moto G & the Edge series, i.e., following a jump of 10 in the numbers.

Anyways, Evan Blass has shared the official images of Moto E20 on Twitter along with some specifications, so we have got a pretty good look at this upcoming entry-level phone from the brand.

Design-wise, the phone looks simple with a waterdrop notch on the front along with a huge bottom bezel and a dual-camera setup on the back. The back also has a unique hexagonal pattern that will make the phone easy to grip. It is no surprise that the whole body is made out of plastic. There seems to be a rear-facing fingerprint scanner that has the Motorola logo as well. The bottom of the phone has a USB Type-C port, and there is a headphone jack on the top.

There is the power button and volume rockers on the right side, along with an extra button that is most likely for the Google Assistant.

Speaking of the specs, Evan Blass revealed that the phone has a 6.5-inch display and it is a 720p panel. The waterdrop notch on top has a 5-megapixel camera for selfies. Under the hood, the phone has an octa-core processor clocked at up to 1.6GHz. And this SOC is not from Qualcomm! There is 2GB RAM and 32GB storage.

There are two cameras on the back where the primary camera has a 13 Megapixel sensor, whereas the secondary camera has a 2 Megapixel sensor. And finally, the phone has a 4,000mAh battery. The phone is codenamed “Aruba” and bears the model number “XT2155-1”.
