In our previous article, we discussed the iQOO Z7, which launched in the Chinese market today. Alongside that phone, the brand also launched a budget 5G phone named the iQOO Z7x. There is no difference in design between the two phones, so only the internals have changed.

iQOO Z7x

While the iQOO Z7 has Snapdragon 782G, the Z7x is powered by a less powerful Snapdragon 695 SOC. The Z7x supports 80W fast charging, which is very fast but still slower than the 120W charging of the iQOO Z7. The phone does have a bigger battery, though. The battery is one of the highlights of the Z7x. The phone has a massive 6,000mAh battery and paired with 80W charging, you are getting a solid combination of excellent battery life and super fast charging.

The display is the same as the iQOO Z7, a 6.64-inch 120Hz LCD with a hole punch cutout.

iQOO Z7x

The camera setup is downgraded, so the iQOO Z7x has a 50MP primary sensor with no OIS support & a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the phone has an 8MP sensor.

Finally, Android 13 runs out of the box with OriginOS 3.
