iQOO Z6 launched today in the Chinese market, and this is a different device than the Z6 that launched in India in March. In China, the phone starts at ¥1699, which translates to around $249. For the price, the phone offers Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset, 80W fast charging, OIS, and a 120Hz display.
Design-wise, iQOO Z6 looks similar to other recently launched iQOO and Vivo devices. The camera module on the rear has two big circles, and there are three camera sensors. The fingerprint reader is present on the right side. The phone has a VC liquid-cooling system as well. The 3.5mm headphone jack is present on the bottom.
Under the hood, it has the Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset that is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. So, performance-wise, there should not be any complaints. The battery size is 4,500mAh, and the phone supports 80W fast charging.
iQOO Z6 has a 6.64-inch 120Hz LCD, which explains the side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The triple camera setup includes a 64MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the phone has an 8MP sensor on the front.
Finally, Android 12 runs out of the box with OriginOS Ocean.
iQOO Z6 comes in three colors, and here is the pricing –
- 8GB + 128GB – ¥1699 (~$249)
- 8GB + 256GB – ¥1899 (~$277)
- 12GB + 256GB – ¥2099 (~$306)
It will go on sale in China on September 1.
