[UPDATE – Launch Date] iQOO Neo 6 SE launching soon with Snapdragon 870

iQOO Neo 5 SE had the same SOC

UPDATE – iQOO has officially announced that the phone is launching in China on the 6th of May.

Earlier this month, the iQOO Neo 6 launched in China with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SOC and super aggressive pricing. As the name shows, that phone is the successor to the iQOO Neo 5 of 2021. Last year, apart from iQOO Neo 5, we also got the iQOO Neo 5 SE, iQOO Neo 5S, etc. Similarly, the iQOO Neo 6 SE is launching soon, and today, Digital Chat Station shared the key specifications of the phone on Weibo.

As per the source, the iQOO Neo 6 SE has Snapdragon 870 SOC which is the same chip that powered iQOO Neo 5 SE last year. But, while the last year’s device had a 144Hz LCD, the Neo 6 SE has a 6.62-inch 120Hz OLED with a hole punch in the center. The battery is also bigger at 4,700mAh (vs. 4,500mAh), and the charging speed is increased from 55W to 80W. Well, those are the only details that DCS shared on Weibo, so we do not know what the phone looks like or what are the camera specifications.

Well, there is no official word from iQOO yet on the launch date, so we will have to wait. Hopefully, we will get to know more details in the coming days. Stay tuned.
