iQOO 12 Pro first look is out, launching on November 7

That camera module design is new!

The iQOO 11 series was launched in December last year with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a 144Hz AMOLED display. With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 already official, iQOO is all set to launch its next flagship series in China. The iQOO 12 series is launching in China on November 7, and today, we got the first official look at the design of the iQOO 12 Pro. These official images reveal the same design that was shown in the hands-on image earlier this month.

The main design change this year is in the camera module. iQOO 11 Pro had a rectangular camera module, but the 12 Pro had a circular one. The camera count is the same. The camera module says “100X Tele Lens,” and we can see that the phone has a periscope lens for the telephoto camera. This is a big upgrade from the regular Telephoto camera on the iQOO 11 Pro.

The official images show the white color option having a glossy back.

Regarding the specifications, leaks have revealed that the triple camera setup on the iQOO 12 Pro includes a primary 1/1.3-inch 50MP OmniVision OV50H sensor with an f/1.68 aperture, a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor with an ultrawide lens and a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor with a 70mm lens (~3x optical zoom). The 100x is simply the maximum digital zoom that this camera offers.

Finally, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
