iQOO 12 series is set to launch in the Chinese market on November 7, and recently, we got the official first look at the rear design. Today, a source on Weibo shared a couple of images with the specifications of the iQOO 12 & iQOO 12 Pro. Now, we cannot say how accurate these leaked specifications are, but in this article, let’s discuss them in detail.

Starting with the iQOO 12, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and has up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM + 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. There is a 6.78-inch OLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate and a 2800 x 1260 pixels resolution. It is worth mentioning that iQOO 11 had a Quad-HD+ display. The peak brightness of the panel is 3000 nit, and there is 2160Hz PWM dimming. The phone is likely using the same Huaxing C8 OLED display as the Xiaomi 14.
The triple camera setup on the rear includes a primary 50MP 1/1.3-inch OmniVision OV50H sensor with OIS, a periscope camera with a 64MP OV64B sensor, and an ultrawide camera with a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor. The periscope camera reportedly offers 3x Optical Zoom.
The selfie camera has a 16MP sensor. The battery is 5,000mAh, and the phone supports 120W fast wired charging. There are stereo speakers, an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP64 rating.

iQOO 12 Pro is not much different from the vanilla model. The chipset, cameras, and the charging speed are the same. The only significant difference is in the display. The Pro model has the same sized panel but a higher Quad-HD+ resolution (3200 x 1440). The peak brightness, however, is lower at 2700 nits. The panel has 1440Hz PWM dimming, compared to 2160Hz in the case of the iQOO 12. The display is also curved on the Pro, compared to a flat panel on the vanilla model.
The battery is slightly larger in the Pro at 5,100mAh, but that should not result in any significant difference in the battery performance, considering the Pro also has more display pixels to deal with. These leaked specifications do not mention wireless charging support, which is odd considering iQOO 11 Pro supported 50W wireless charging.
The phone is IP68 rated, has stereo speakers, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display.

Speaking of prices, the same source claims the iQOO 12 will launch at ¥3799 and the iQOO 12 Pro at ¥4999, the exact pricing at which the iQOO 11 series launched last year. But, while the prices are the same, the base variants of both phones are getting 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. So, if we compare the prices of 12GB + 256GB variants with last year’s models, the iQOO 12 is ¥600 (~$80) cheaper, and the iQOO 12 Pro is ¥500 (~$70) more affordable than the predecessors.
But again, as mentioned in the beginning, we cannot say how accurate this leak is, so take it with a pinch of salt.
