In December last year, iQOO 11 & iQOO 11 Pro were launched in China, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SOC. Later in January this year, the iQOO 11 was launched in the Indian market as the first phone in India with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SOC. Today, the brand launched a new phone under this series in China, the iQOO 11S. As the name suggests, this is an upgrade over the vanilla iQOO 11.
The phone comes in three colors, and the overall design is the same as the iQOO 11. There are dual stereo speakers, dual X-axis linear motors, a pressure-sensitive display, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
The specifications are not much different too. iQOO 11S has the same display – a 6.78-inch LTPO E6 AMOLED with up to 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, Quad-HD+ resolution, 1800 nits peak brightness, 517 PPI pixel density, and HDR10+ certification. The SOC is the same – a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with a prime core clocked at up to 3.2GHz. It is worth mentioning that there were rumors of an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, but as it turns out, the phone is using the normal version only. There is LPDDR5X RAM paired with UFS 4.0 storage.
The primary camera gets an upgrade over the iQOO 11. The iQOO 11S has a custom 50MP Sony IMX866 VCS sensor with an f/1.88 lens and OIS. The other two cameras are identical – an 8MP ultrawide and a 13MP 3x telephoto. For selfies, the phone has the same 16MP camera.
Finally, coming to the battery size, iQOO 11S has a 4,700mAh battery and supports 200W fast wired charging. For comparison, iQOO 11 has a 5,000mAh battery and 120W fast wired charging. There is no wireless charging support which the iQOO 11 Pro has.

Well, compared to the launch price of iQOO 11, the iQOO 11S is cheaper, but that isn’t a surprise since the iQOO 11 launched over six months ago.
