It is being rumored that Huawei will launch its P50 Series on the 17th of April, and while there is no official announcement from the brand yet, we now have our first look at the design of Huawei P50 and Huawei P50 Pro, thanks to the high-quality renders of the phones shared by Steve aka OnLeaks. He shared the renders of P50 Pro yesterday, and today, he shared the renders of P50. In short, both the P50 and P50 Pro are very similar, at least from the rear, where both have that massive egg-shaped camera module.
Speaking of the Huawei P50 first, there are some significant design changes, the biggest of which is, of course on the rear. There is a huge egg-shaped camera module having two large circles in it and an LED flash. Now, we are expecting a camera module design somewhat similar to the Huawei Nova 8 series, which means one huge camera sensor in the first circle and the rest of the cameras in the other. Just like last year, the vanilla P50 has a flat-screen, and this time around, Huawei ditched the pill-shaped cutout for a tiny single selfie camera placed in a circular cutout in the center.
There are stereo speakers, so the primary speaker is on the bottom while the secondary speaker is on the top and not on the front.
Speaking of the Huawei P50 Pro, it has a more boxy look compared to the P50 that is more round. Also, the display on the front is not completely flat as it has slightly curved sides. Except for this, the design isn’t much different. There is the same centered hole-punch cutout and an egg-shaped camera module. The top and bottom edges are flat, unlike the P50 that has rounded top and bottom edges.
Steve also shared that while the display on P50 measures 6.3-inch, the one on the P50 Pro is a 6.6-inch diagonal.
Well, looking at these renders, we won’t be surprised if the P50 Series featured a mind-blowing camera setup. This time as well, we are expecting three devices, i.e., P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+.
