Huawei Mate 40 Series global launch will take place on October 22

Huawei has finally announced the launch date of its upcoming Mate 40 Series & the global launch will take place on the 22nd of October. On its Twitter account, Huawei announced the launch date with the caption that says “Unprecedented Power is coming”. This suggests that the Huawei Mate 40 Series is coming with the rumoured Kirin 9000 SOC built on the 5nm process.

So far, we know that just like the Huawei P40 Series, there are at least three flagships under the Mate 40 Series as well, i.e., the Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro & the Mate 40 Pro+.

The CAD renders of both the Mate 40 & Mate 40 Pro have already revealed the design so both the phones feature a huge circular rear camera module but while the Mate 40 has triple cameras & no periscope lens, the Mate 40 Pro gets a Quad camera setup including a periscope camera. Both phones have a dual selfie camera setup, so there is a long pill-shaped cutout on the top left of the display. The display on the Mate 40 Pro is curved whereas the one on the Mate 40 appears to be almost completely flat.

Well, details are very scarce at the moment, but we will get to know more about the Huawei Mate 40 Series in the coming days. Stay Tuned!
