Google Pixel 7 & 7 Pro to cost the same as Pixel 6 series

Now this is quite interesting!

Recently, we got to know some details of the Tensor G2 chip that powers the upcoming Pixel 7 duo. The phones are set to launch on the 6th of October, and now, a source has shared the starting prices of both phones for the US market.  These details were shared by Artem Russakovski, the founder of APKMirror and AndroidPolice.

Interestingly, the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have the same starting price for the US as the last year’s Pixel 6 series. This means $599 for the Pixel 7 and $899 for the Pixel 7 Pro. In the screenshots above, you can see the codenames of both the devices – “Panther” and “Cheetah.”

Both phones come in three color options, and two are the same for both – Obsidian and Snow. These are fancy names used by Google for Black and White color options. The Google Pixel 7 comes in a third color named Lemongrass, whereas the third color option for Pixel 7 Pro is called Hazel.

Speaking of other details shared by Artem, the pre-orders will begin on the launch day, i.e., October 6.

If you pre-order Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro at Target, you will get $100 and $200 gift cards, respectively. Well, all of these are prices and offers for the US market, so it is pretty likely that the Pixel 7 series will launch at a higher price than the Pixel 6 series in markets outside the US.
