Alleged OnePlus 8 Pro live images & specs leaked

The OnePlus 8 series is expected to launch in April or May & we know that like last year, we are getting the normal version & a ‘Pro’ version. This time, there is also a ‘Lite’ version named OnePlus 8 Lite. OnePlus has already revealed that its next flagships will come with 120Hz displays & the leaks have confirmed the same.

The OnePlus 8 Pro CAD renders were shared in October last year, which revealed the design of the phone from every angle. Now, the phone has surfaced in some live images shared by a user on Snapchat!

As the live images reveal, the OnePlus 8 Pro features a punch-hole display on the front with a single selfie camera placed on the top right corner. As we can notice in the images, the bottom chin is nowhere to be seen, which is impressive since there are even bezels on all sides. Also, like the OnePlus 7 Pro of last year, the 8 Pro has a display with curved sides.

The camera setup design on the rear is similar to the one on OnePlus 7 Pro except for the fact that there is an extra camera sensor on the right, increasing the sensor count to four on the 8 Pro.

Moreover, a screenshot of the ‘About Phone’ page of the phone reveals the key specifications that include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G SOC, 6.65-inch 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB storage, and a triple camera setup that includes a primary 64 Megapixel IMX686 sensor, a secondary 20MP ultra-wide-angle camera & a third 12MP telephoto unit. The fourth camera sensor that we can see in the live images is reportedly a Time of Flight sensor.

Well, while these live images reveal the same design as seen in the CAD renders of last year, we will still advise you to consider this leak with a pinch of salt, especially the leak related to the ‘About Phone’ page of the phone.
