As expected, the high-end Xiaomi Mi 9 is launching this month, at least in China. The Mi 8 didn’t make it to markets like India, so we think the same will be the case with the Mi 9 since there is already Poco and Redmi for the Indian market. Anyways, Lei Jun, the Co-Founder of Xiaomi, revealed on his official Weibo account that the Mi 9 would be announced on February 20 in China.
According to the Weibo post, the Xiaomi Mi 9 is a ‘super-powerful flagship’ from Xiaomi and the ‘Best Looking Mi phone so far.’ So, expect a design better than the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 which is undoubtedly the best looking phone at the moment from Xiaomi. The specifications or the pricing is not yet known, but since it is a high-end phone from Xiaomi, things like a Snapdragon 855 processor, 8GB RAM, triple rear cameras are there.
Now, if you notice, the phone is launching on February 20, i.e., on the same day when Samsung is launching its Galaxy S10 Lineup. So, that’s interesting since everyone would be looking at Samsung and its products on February 20.
