Xiaomi Black Shark 2 first hands-on image reveals the design from rear

Last year, Xiaomi backed Black Shark launched two gaming smartphones, the Black Shark Gaming phone in April & Black Shark Helo in October. It won’t be wrong to say that this year also, we will see a lot of gaming-centric phones from a lot of other companies as well. The Vivo iQOO phone is launching soon with high-end specs, and we expect that it’s a gaming phone from the company.

Today, the first hands-on image of the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 (name not confirmed yet) revealed the design from the rear.

As seen in the image above, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a similar design on the rear with the only change being the dual camera setup. It is placed vertically on the top left along with the LED flash. The Black Shark Helo had a dual camera setup placed in the center. Also, the Black Shark 2 doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner on the back like the Helo, so it is most probably having an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Looking at the logo on the rear, it would be safe to assume that it lights up like the one on Black Shark Helo. According to the source that posted this image, the phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and supports 27W Fast Charging.

In January, the Black Shark ‘Skywalker’ was spotted on Geekbench with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, Android 9 Pie, and 8GB RAM. So, that’s all we know about the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 so far. Let’s hope to get more details regarding the phone in the coming days. It is not yet known when the launch is happening, but since the first gaming phone from Black Shark launched in April last year, we are expecting the same for the Black Shark 2.
