The Xiaomi 13 Ultra was launched in April last year, featuring a ridiculous spec sheet including four 50MP sensors on the rear, a primary camera with a 1-inch sensor + variable aperture, 50W wireless charging, a Quad-HD+ LTPO OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and more. The Xiaomi 14 & 14 Pro are already official in China, and on February 25, the company is launching the Xiaomi 14 series in the global market. We expect the Xiaomi 14 Ultra to be launched on the same day.
Today, the official renders of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra were shared by MySmartPrice, giving us our first look at the phone. These renders reveal a similar design.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes in at least two colors – Black & White. Both the color options feature a vegan leather finish on the back. The phone has a flat frame, with the power button having a textured finish. There is a large circular camera module with a quad-camera setup.
Compared to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s design, the only noticeable design change is the ring around the camera module, which was missing on the 13 Ultra. But, the overall design is more or less the same as last year. This is not a bad move from the brand because we have seen many brands using the same design for their phones instead of changing the design each year.
The camera bump is massive, and when we say “massive”, we mean “massive”! The camera bump is almost the same thickness as the rest of the phone. This indicates some big sensors are being used this year.
As per sources, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is launching in Europe in a single configuration – 16GB + 512GB. The price is €1,499, which is similar to the starting price of the Galaxy S24 Ultra (which has 8GB RAM and 512GB storage in the base model).
