Vivo X100 Ultra launching on May 13 with X100s & X100s Pro

The focus is on the camera (No pun intended!)

Vivo X100 Ultra is in the news these days as it is the company’s upcoming premium flagship that will compete with the likes of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, and more. Recently, we got the camera specifications of the smartphone and also the official camera samples. Today, Vivo officially announced the launch date for the Chinese market.

The X100 Ultra is launching in China on May 13, and it won’t be the only phone to launch that day. The Vivo X100s & the Vivo X100s Pro are also launching on May 13. Going by the names, these are the upgrades over the Vivo X100 & X100 Pro.

Design-wise, the three phones are pretty similar. When looked at closely, we can see that the Vivo X100s has a flat display and a flat frame. The X100s Pro has a curved display, hence a rounded frame. The camera module design is the same for both devices.

As for the Vivo X100 Ultra, it has a larger camera module due to its bigger sensors. The cameras are also laid out differently in the circular module than the other two phones. The color options are the same for all three phones, with the only exception being the Blue color for the vanilla X100s.

And well, that is the design of the Vivo X100s, Vivo X100s Pro, and Vivo X100 Ultra.

As per Digital Chat Station, the X100s comes in these storage options – 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. The X100s Pro has the same storage options. The X100 Ultra does not have the 16GB + 256GB variant.

The company has not revealed the chipsets, but reports claim the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ for the X100s & X100s Pro.
