A couple of weeks back, we got the know that Vivo NEX 3 5G is debuting in China on September 16 & one of the highlights is it is going to be the 99.6% screen-to-body ratio which was confirmed by the Product Manager as well. Today, a couple of images on Weibo revealed the specifications of the upcoming NEX 3 5G that include things like Snapdragon 855+ SOC, a 4,500mAH battery & more.
So, as the images reveal, the Vivo NEX 3 5G features a Waterfall Display with almost 90-degree curved sides & hence, the screen-to-body ratio is 99.6%, the highest on any phone till date. It seems as if we are soon getting a phone with 100% screen-to-body ratio.
There is Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SOC & 5G Model for 5G support. There is also a cooling mechanism & the phone features a big 4,500mAh battery with 44W Fast Charging support.
There is 8GB RAM & 256GB UFS 3.0 storage as well, which is much faster than the older UFS 2.1 storage, so the read/write speeds & the app launch times will be better.
The images clearly mention that the Vivo NEX 3 5G features a 64 Megapixel primary camera with Samsung GW1 sensor, a secondary wide-angle camera & a third telephoto camera. There is also a mention of “Macro” in the text, but we don’t think there is a dedicated macro lens. The phone does have NFC.
