Major specifications of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip revealed

A couple of weeks ago, we got to know that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is the next foldable phone that Samsung is going to launch at the Unpacked event on February 11th. Also recently, a source revealed that the price is going to be around €1400 for the European market. Now, major details regarding the Galaxy Z Flip were shared by Max Weinbach.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a 6.7-inch Infinity-O display with Samsung’s Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG). There is a crease at the folding point. The fingerprint scanner is there on the side. The phone also has a secondary display on the outside, but it is a tiny 1-inch screen that is used to show information like battery percentage, date and time etc.

Users can also use it as a viewfinder while using the rear cameras to take selfies.

The SOC powering the Galaxy Z Flip is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+.

There are dual cameras on the back that include a primary 12 Megapixel wide lens paired with a 12 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Most probably, the primary camera is the same 12MP IMX555 sensor as on the Galaxy S20 & S20+. On the front, there is a 10MP camera for selfies.

The battery size is not accurately known, but it is either 3,300 or a 3,500mAh unit. There is 15W Fast Wired charging & the phone supports Wireless Charging as well as reverse Wireless Charging.
