Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is the company’s next foldable phone

At the UNPACKED event on February 11th, Samsung is most likely launching a Foldable phone as well, which is going to be the successor to last year’s Galaxy Fold. So far, it is confirmed that this one has a clamshell design like the Motorola Razr, so it folds vertically. Moreover, an image recently revealed that it would be called Galaxy Bloom.

It looks like “Bloom” is the codename & not the name with which this device is launching in the market. As per Ice Universe, the official name is Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.

This new information has revealed that a whole new series of phones is going to be announced on February 11th in the form of Galaxy Z. It cannot be said if this series is exclusively for Foldable phones only. The name clearly says that it is a “Flip” phone so there is a vertically folding display.

Last year in December, a few hands-on images gave us a look at this foldable clamshell phone from Samsung. These images revealed that there is an Infinity-O display on the inside with a punch-hole on the top for the selfie camera. On the outside, there are dual cameras & a tiny secondary display for showing information like date, time, battery percentage etc.

There were some reports that the price of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is going to be around $1000, which means it is cheaper than the last year’s Galaxy Fold. Let’s see what Samsung has planned to showcase at the February 11 event.
