Thanks to Roland Quandt and Evan Blass, we have got the official press renders of both the phones in every color and from every angle, confirming everything we know so far about the design. In this article, let’s talk about the full specifications as well as the design of both phones.

THIS IS THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S9

Starting off with the Samsung Galaxy S9, the phone has the same design from the front as last year’s Galaxy S8, but the bottom bezel is going to be slightly thinner as compared to last year. The display is curved from both sides, and this is something we have seen from the Galaxy S6 Edge. The volume rockers are present on the left side along with the dedicated button for Bixby assistant whereas the power button is on the right. There is a single rear camera with the fingerprint scanner below the camera lens which is not the best location for it but is surely better than what we saw last year on the S8 and Note 8.

Both the Samsung Galaxy S9 as well as the Galaxy S9+ have stereo speakers tuned by AKG so looks like the audio output will be much better than the previous generation.

Also, both phones have primary rear cameras with variable aperture, i.e., the aperture can change from f/1.5 to f/2.4 depending on the lighting. So, in low light, the aperture will shift to f/1.5 while f/2.4 in ample lighting. The rear camera can shoot 960 fps super slow-mo videos (The resolution isn’t yet confirmed but could be 1080p).

Not to forget that both the phones have 3.5mm headphone jack!
