The Samsung Galaxy S25 series was officially launched in January, featuring three smartphones. But there is one more premium flagship phone under this lineup, which Samsung is going to launch soon. It is the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, which was officially teased at the S25 series launch event. Samsung has already revealed that this phone will feature a dual camera setup on the rear, and there is a camera island, which is missing on the rest of the S25 series devices.
Today, the official renders of the Galaxy S25 Edge were shared by Winfuture, revealing the three color options and the design from the front and back.
Design-wise, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has a flat display on the front with symmetrical bezels and an oval-shaped camera island with dual cameras. It is launching in at least three colors – Titanium Jet Black, Titanium Silver, and “Titanium Icy Blue. The specifications of the phone are not yet confirmed, but rumors indicate similar specifications as the Galaxy S25+ with the main differences being one less camera on the rear and a smaller battery. The phone is reportedly launching with a 3,900mAh battery.
The Galaxy S25 Edge reportedly has a 6.7-inch display with a Full-HD+ resolution. The main USP of the phone is its slim form-factor, and it is reported that the thickness is just 5.8mm.
It is also reported that Apple will launch an iPhone with a slim form-factor this year named the iPhone 17 Air. It is interesting to see Samsung and Apple launching slim phones this year with small batteries when we have Chinese phone makers launching phones with massive batteries without compromising the thickness.
