In January, the Redmi Turbo 4 was launched in China with a MediaTek Dimensity 8400-ULTRA chipset. The phone was later launched outside China as the Poco X7 Pro. The brand is now all set to launch the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro in the Chinese market. While the Redmi Turbo 4 was launched with a MediaTek chipset, the Turbo 4 Pro is launching with a Snapdragon chipset.
The company has shared the official images on Weibo, giving us our first look at the design.
Design-wise, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro looks identical to the Redmi Turbo 4 with the same dual camera setup on the rear. One major design change, however, is the metal frame. The Redmi Turbo 4 was launched with a plastic frame. The bezels on the front are extremely slim. Redmi says the side and top bezels are 1.5mm, while the bottom chin is 1.9mm. This is a large 6.83-inch display, quite larger than the 6.67-inch panel on the Redmi Turbo 4. This is a TCL M9 OLED panel and the resolution is 1.5K.
The main USP of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is the performance. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which was launched earlier this month. Compared to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 has a 31% faster CPU and a 49% faster GPU. The GPU supports ray-tracing.
The phone reportedly has a massive 7,550mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging, which is impressive.
It is expected to launch outside China as the Poco F7.
