The Realme GT 7 Pro was launched in China in November with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Later in February this year, we got the Realme GT 7 Pro Racing Edition with the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset but a few downgrades and a lower price tag. The brand is now all set to launch the Realme GT 7 in China, and this is going to be yet another high-end phone from the company. The phone is launching in China on April 23.
Design-wise, the Realme GT 7 looks identical to other phones in this series. There is a rectangular camera module in the top left corner with three circles, two of which have camera sensors. There is a glass back, and the frame is most likely plastic since the images do not show antenna lines. There is a flat display on the front with slim bezels.
As for the specifications, we know that the Realme GT 7 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset and there is a massive 7,200mAh battery. There is 100W wired charging support, and the phone weighs around 203g. The thickness is 8.25mm.
The display is one of the highlights of this device. It has a 6.8-inch 1.5K 144Hz LTPS OLED panel from BOE with bezels as slim as 1.3mm and an impressive 4608Hz PWM + DC dimming. The global peak brightness is 1800 nits, and the local peak brightness goes up to 6500 nits. The display has crystal armor glass protection.
Finally, the phone is IP69-certified, and there is reportedly an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner.
The starting price is said to be under ¥3000 (~$410) in China.
