The Redmi Note 15 series has launched in the Chinese market, and this is the successor to the Redmi Note 14 series of last year. Like last year, there are three new phones under the Note 15 lineup – Redmi Note 15, Redmi Note 15 Pro, and Redmi Note 15 Pro+. Unlike last year’s Note 14 series, where the Note 14 looked completely different than the other two models, the Redmi Note 15 series has a consistent design language where all three phones have a similar design.
REDMI NOTE 15

Starting with the vanilla model, the Redmi Note 15 comes with a circular camera module on the rear, a curved display on the front, and a rounded frame. The phone is at most 7.4mm thick, and weighs 178g. There are stereo speakers, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and an IP66 certification. While the Redmi Note 14 was launched last year with a MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra chipset, the Redmi Note 15 comes with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. There is LPDDR4X RAM with UFS 2.2 storage. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 was launched in September last year, and the specifications are similar to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2.
The battery is 5,800mAh, and there is 45W wired charging support. For comparison, the Redmi Note 14 featured a 5,110mAh battery.
Speaking of the display, the Redmi Note 15 has a 6.77-inch dual-curved OLED panel with a Full-HD+ resolution, 3200 nits peak brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 12-bit color depth, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and DC dimming. This sounds like a good upgrade over the display on the Redmi Note 14.
The camera setup on the rear includes two sensors. The primary rear camera has a 1/2.88″ 50MP Light Fusion 400 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture lens and OIS support. There is a 2MP sensor for the secondary camera. The selfie shooter has an 8MP sensor. It is worth mentioning that the Redmi Note 14 featured a 1/1.95″ 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor for the primary camera and a 16MP selfie camera. So, the cameras are downgraded this year. The phone can shoot 4K 30fps videos from the rear camera and 1080p 30fps videos from the selfie camera.
Finally, the Redmi Note 15 runs on HyperOS 2 out of the box.
Here is the pricing for the Chinese market –

REDMI NOTE 15 PRO

The Redmi Note 15 Pro has a similar camera module design like the Redmi Note 14 Pro, but while the Note 14 Pro featured a curved display last year, the Note 15 Pro has a flat display with slim bezels. The phone is 7.78mm thick and weighs around 210.6 grams. There is Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal glass protection on the front. The phone is IP68/IP69/IP69K-certified and has stereo speakers. There is an IR blaster, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and NFC.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 Pro has the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra chipset with UFS 2.2 storage and LPDDR4X RAM. The battery is 7,000mAh, up from 5,500mAh in the Redmi Note 14 Pro. The phone supports 45W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
Speaking of the display, it is a 6.83-inch flat OLED panel with 3200 nits local peak brightness, 1800 nits global peak brightness, a 1.5K resolution, a 12-bit color depth, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and DC dimming. There are two cameras on the rear. The primary rear camera has a 1/1.95″ 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with a large f/1.5 aperture lens and OIS support. There is an 8MP sensor for the ultrawide camera. The selfie camera has a 20MP sensor. The phone can shoot 4K 30fps videos from the rear camera and 1080p 60fps videos from the selfie shooter. Well, it looks like there is no upgrade in the camera department this year versus the Redmi Note 14 Pro.
The phone runs on HyperOS 2 out of the box.

REDMI NOTE 15 PRO+

Finally, we have the star of the show, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+. This is the most expensive phone under this lineup, hence the most feature-packed. Unlike the other two devices, this one looks the most premium, thanks to a quad-curved display. The camera module design remains the same as the other two models. The display under the glass is flat, but the glass itself is curved on all four sides. There is Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal glass protection for the display and fiberglass on the rear. The frame is plastic. The phone features IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ has the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset compared to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 inside the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. There is LPDDR4X RAM with UFS 2.2 storage.
The display is a 6.83-inch micro-quad curved OLED with a 1.5K resolution, 3200 nits local peak brightness, 1800 nits global peak brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, 12-bit color depth, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, DC dimming, and a 3840Hz PWM dimming. This is the same display as the Redmi Note 15 Pro.
