First Redmi 9 live image gives us a look at the rear of the phone

Under the sub-Rs 10,000 price segment in India, the number series from Redmi is quite popular. Last year we got the Redmi 8 series that included Redmi 8, Redmi 8A, and the Redmi 8A Dual. Now, Redmi is all set to launch the Redmi 9 and the very first live image of the phone has revealed the rear design (shared by Sudhanshu Ambhore).

Some major specifications were also shared by the same source.

The live image only reveals the rear of the phone, so it is still a mystery whether the phone has a punch-hole design of a display with a notch. Anyways, there are Quad cameras on the rear stacked vertically in the middle similar to the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The fingerprint scanner is also there on the rear. There is a circle around the camera setup similar to the Poco X2.

The specifications include the MediaTek Helio G80 SOC and 13 Megapixel + 8 Megapixel (UltraWide) + 5 Megapixel (Macro) and 2 Megapixel (Depth) Quad cameras. There are at least two colour options – Purple & Green.

We don’t know the front design at the moment nor the rest of the specs of the phone. The price is going to be under Rs 10,000 in India.
