After the Note series, the number series is perhaps the most popular smartphone series by Redmi. Last year, the Redmi 10 launched globally, which came to India as Redmi 10 Prime. Today, the company launched Redmi 10 2022 in the Indian market. Some notable features of this new phone include a Snapdragon 680 SOC, a 6,000mAh battery, and a 50MP camera.

Design-wise, Redmi seems to have taken design notes from Realme because the camera module design is quite similar to Narzo 50A, where the camera module includes not only the cameras but also the branding and the fingerprint scanner. It is worth mentioning that the Redmi 10 has only two camera sensors in the camera module, even though it looks like a triple camera setup.

The phone has a large 6.7-inch IPS LCD with a 720p resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. There is a Snapdragon 680 SOC under the hood that is built on the 6nm process and is paired with 4/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The battery size is 6,000mAh, and there is support for 18W charging. In the box, however, you get a 10W adapter. In terms of cameras, there is a dual-camera setup on the rear where the primary camera has a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture lens, and the second camera has a 2MP sensor for depth information. For selfies, you get a 5MP camera.

Finally, MIUI 13 runs out of the box, which is based on Android 11.

Redmi 10 2022 comes in three colors named Midnight Black, Pacific Blue, and Caribbean Green. Here is the pricing –

  • 4GB + 64GB – ₹10,999
  • 6GB + 128GB – ₹12,999

The sale starts on the 24th of March.
