The Red Magic 8S Pro is set to launch in China on July 5, and the company has shared phone images on Weibo, showcasing the design. As the name suggests, this is an upgrade to the Red Magic 8 Pro, launched in December last year. The USP of the Red Magic 8 Pro was the design & the same will be the case with the upcoming 8S Pro.
The design is pretty much the same as the Red Magic 8 Pro, so the 8S Pro has a flat frame, a flat display, sharp corners, an under-display selfie camera, vents on the side for the airflow, shoulder triggers, a 3.5mm headphone jack on top, stereo speakers and a cooling fan. One difference this time is that the cooling fan has RGB light in the other two color options as well, not just in the transparent version.
The company also shared an image showing the Black & Silver colors without the RGB light around the cooling fan. Hence, it is possible that the variants with an RGB light around the fan are more expensive than the regular variants.
The Red Magic 8S Pro features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with the CPU clocked at up to 3.36GHz, compared to 3.2GHz in the regular 8 Gen 2. Nubia has also revealed that the phone will feature up to 24GB RAM, which is insane. The battery size is 6,000mAH, and there is 165W fast charging support.
The phone uses the fourth generation Under Display Camera technology.
