Realme X2 officially confirmed to feature Snapdragon 730G

Realme has launched so many phones this year, but still, the company isn’t going to stop as on September 24th, we are getting new Realme phone in the Chinese market named Realme X2. Previously, it was reported that it is just the rebranded Realme XT that launched in India recently, but now, Realme has revealed on Weibo that it would feature Snapdragon 730G SOC.

If you don’t know, at the Realme XT Event in India, Realme announced that it would launch an upgraded Realme XT with Snapdragon 730G in December. So, this means the Realme X2 that’s launching in China on September 24th is coming to the Indian market as the Realme XT’s upgraded version.

The Snapdragon 730G is a gaming-centric SOC with “Snapdragon Elite Gaming” suite that helps in getting better gaming performance. It is an 8nm SOC & a very powerful chip that sits between the Snapdragon 730 & Snapdragon 845 in terms of the performance.

Apart from the SOC, we know that the Realme X2 has a 64 Megapixel primary rear camera & a total of four rear cameras. Assuming that the camera setup is the same as on Realme XT, there is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor & a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is an upgraded 32 Megapixel camera. Unlike Realme X, the X2 is most likely coming with a notch instead of a pop-up camera.

Well, Realme Q launched in China at a starting price of 999 Yuan which means it is Rs 4,000 cheaper in China than in India. So, we are expecting super aggressive pricing for the Realme X2 as well. This means it would take on Redmi K20 that has Snapdragon 730 & premium features like Full-Screen design, in-display fingerprint scanner, pop-up camera, triple cameras & more.
