Realme C55 is the newest budget offering from the brand in the Indian market & for a starting price of ₹10,999, the phone offers a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, a large 5,000mAh battery & 33W fast charging support.
But perhaps the most exciting feature of this phone is the software. This phone comes with, what the company calls, the ‘Mini Capsule,’ which is similar to Dynamic Island on iPhones. This Mini Capsule can show battery status, data usage, step count, etc.
Realme claims this is the thinnest phone in its segment at 7.89mm. The design is quite beautiful, including flat sides, a glossy camera module, a matte finish on the back, and slim bezels on the front. The phone has a fingerprint scanner on the side, a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom & a USB Type-C port.
As for the specs, there is a 6.72-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate & a Full-HD+ resolution. The peak brightness is 680 nits. Realme C55 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 SOC, with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM & 64GB/128GB storage. The storage type is eMMC 5.1 because that’s the limitation of the Helio G88, which doesn’t support UFS storage.
The battery size is 5,000mAh & there is 33W fast charging support. For photography, you get a dual rear camera setup, including a 64MP sensor for the primary camera & a macro camera. For selfies, there is an 8MP camera.
Finally, the phone runs on Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0.
The phone comes in two colors – Sunshower and Rainy Night. Here is the pricing –
- 4GB + 64GB – ₹10,999
- 6GB + 64GB – ₹11,999
- 8GB + 128GB – ₹13,999
The first sale takes place on March 28 & you can buy the phone online on Realme India’s website & Flipkart.
