Poco X3 GT official renders surface, launch on July 28th

It is a rebrand of Redmi Note 10 Pro (China)

While we are waiting for tomorrow’s Poco F3 GT launch event in India, there is another phone under this new “GT” lineup that is launching this month. It is the Poco X3 GT. It is launching on the 28th of July in Malaysia, but the Indian launch is expected to happen in late August or in September. Today, a source named “Yogesh” on Twitter shared the official render of X3 GT, which once again confirms the fact that it is just the Chinese Redmi Note 10 Pro but with a different name.

We have seen that Poco likes to tweak the back design of its rebranded Redmi phones to make them look different, but this time, there is no such change. The design remains 100% the same as the Note 10 Pro, so the only change is in the logo on the back. Even the logo is present in the same location as the “Redmi” logo on the Note 10 Pro. There is a big camera module on the rear, and while you might confuse that square-shaped camera outline with a periscope camera, that’s not the case. It is a pretty average camera setup, including a 64 Megapixel primary, an ultrawide 8 Megapixel secondary & a third 2 Megapixel macro camera. There is a 16 Megapixel selfie shooter.

Under the hood, Poco X3 GT is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 5G SOC, which sits just below the Dimensity 1200 in terms of performance. There is also UFS 3.1 storage, just like in the case of the Poco X3 Pro. The display on the front is a 120Hz LCD, not AMOLED. It is a Full-HD+ panel with Gorilla Glass Victus on top, something we see only on premium flagship phones. Since the display is an LCD, there is a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

Finally, the Poco X3 GT features a 5,000mAh battery & supports 67W fast charging.

The pricing is not yet known but when it launches in India, expect the starting price to be higher than that of the Poco X3 Pro.
