Last November, the Poco M4 Pro 5G went official globally with the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SOC. It was a rebadged Redmi Note 11 5G (for China). Today, we got the Poco M4 Pro in the global market, which, as the name suggests, is a non-5G version. In terms of specs, it is pretty similar to the Redmi Note 11S for the global market but with a different primary camera sensor.

Poco M4 Pro

Design-wise, it has a ‘Poco’ flair with a different camera module design. Apart from that, everything remains unchanged. There are flat sides, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a centered hole-punch design, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack on top, and a Type-C port on the bottom. The phone uses LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus, and the company says the total heat dissipation area is 10005 mm². This is also the lightest and the slimmest phone under Poco’s M series, weighing 179.5g and having a thickness of 8.09mm.

Speaking of the specs, there is a 6.43-inch AMOLED on the front with a 90Hz refresh rate, 1000 nits peak brightness, and Full-HD+ resolution. The touch-sampling rate is 180Hz, and the contrast ratio is 4,500,000:1. Under the hood, it packs MediaTek Helio G96 SOC paired with 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

Poco M4 Pro

Coming to the cameras, Poco M4 Pro has a triple camera setup on the rear, with the primary camera having a 64MP sensor and f/1.8 aperture lens. There is an 8MP ultrawide with 118-degree FOV and a 2MP macro camera. Compared to Redmi Note 11S, there is one less camera sensor, and the primary camera has a 64MP sensor instead of 108MP. For selfies, Poco M4 Pro has a 16MP camera, the same as for Redmi Note 11S.

Finally, there is a 5,000mAh battery and 33W fast charging support. Android 11 runs out of the box with MIUI 13 on top. There are two storage options and here is the “Early-bird” pricing –

  • 6GB + 128GB – €199
  • 8GB + 256GB – €249

The color options are named Cool Blue, Power Black, and POCO Yellow.

In India, the price starts at ₹14,999 for the 6GB + 64GB variant but as an introductory offer, you can get the phone for ₹13,999. The first sale is taking place on the 7th of March.
