Poco C3 launched in India with triple cameras & Helio G35

Poco C3 is now official in the Indian market & apart from the fact that it is a rebranded Redmi 9C, this is the cheapest phone launched by Poco so far since the starting price is just Rs 7,499 (Introductory Offer). For comparison, the Redmi 9C, which launched as the Redmi 9 in India (with dual cameras), is priced at Rs 8,999.

POCO C3 – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS

Just like the Poco M2 & Poco M2 Pro, C3 comes with a dual-tone design on the back, so there is a smooth finish on the part around the camera setup & the rest of the back has a textured finish. This time, instead of going for a big Poco branding on the rear like on the Poco M2, the company decided to place the logo below the camera module.

One huge design change compared to the Redmi 9C or Redmi 9 is that there is no fingerprint scanner on the back.

Well, talking about the specs now, the Poco C3 features a 6.53-inch display with 720p resolution & 20:9 aspect ratio. There is MediaTek Helio G35 chipset along with either 3GB or 4GB RAM & 32GB or 64GB storage. You can expand the storage up to 512GB since there is a dedicated slot for memory expansion. There is a 5,000mAh battery & the phone doesn’t support any fast charging tech.

Finally, the triple camera setup on the rear includes a primary 13 Megapixel shooter paired with a 2 Megapixel macro & a 2 Megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a 5 Megapixel selfie camera. MIUI 12 runs out of the box based on Android 10.
