OnePlus NORD CE 2 Lite announced, to launch on April 28

It will launch alongside the OnePlus 10R

We already know that OnePlus will launch two new smartphones on the 28th of April in India. The company itself has already revealed that the OnePlus 10R is one of the two phones. And if that was not enough, the brand also shared the images and major specifications of the phone, such as 150W charging, Dimensity 8100, etc. Now, OnePlus has officially announced that along with the 10R, it is also launching the Oneplus NORD CE 2 Lite. We already knew this, but now, we have the official confirmation.

Just as in the case of the 10R, the company shared the images of NORD CE 2 Lite along with a couple of features.

OnePlus NORD CE 2 Lite

So yes, the OnePlus NORD CE 2 Lite is not a very different phone from the Realme 9 Pro that is already available in India. Design-wise, the only change that you are going to see is in the branding, color, and a two-tone look on the back around the camera module. Apart from that, this is the same-looking phone with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom, and a flat panel with a hole punch on the front.

OnePlus NORD CE 2 Lite

OnePlus only revealed the charging speed and battery size of the phone, so there is a 5,000mAh cell and 33W fast charging. And to no surprise, these are the same for Realme 9 Pro. The leaks revealed that the NORD CE 2 Lite has Snapdragon 695 5G SOC, a 120Hz LCD, a 64MP primary sensor, and a 16MP selfie camera. All these specs are the same as Realme 9 Pro. The only difference is that OnePlus NORD CE 2 Lite has no ultrawide camera on the rear. Instead, it has two 2MP sensors. Of course, the NORD CE 2 Lite runs on OxygenOS out of the box instead of RealmeUI, but that is not that big of a deal after Oppo and OnePlus merger.
