The OnePlus Nord 2 launch is happening on the 22nd of July, and while we are still a week away from the unveiling, a lot of details are known already. We know how the phone looks like, what are the key specifications of it, and today, the pricing for India was also shared by a source on Twitter who goes by the username @heyitsyogesh. Along with the pricing, we also got to know how many color options, as well as storage options, are there for this phone.
So starting with the color options, OnePlus will launch the Nord 2 in three color options named Grey Sierra, Blue Haze, and Green Woods. Out of these three, two color options will be revealed at the launch event, whereas the third one is a Special Edition featuring a leather finish on the rear. That will be launched later.
The phone is coming in at least two storage options – 8GB + 128GB & 12GB + 256GB. It is not yet known whether there is also a 6GB RAM variant, but if it is there, then that would be priced under ₹30,000.
- 8GB + 128GB – ₹31,999
- 12GB + 256GB – ₹34,999
So while the last year’s OnePlus Nord was an affordable mid-range 5G phone from the brand, the OnePlud Nord 2 is more like a premium mid-range phone. At this price, you’ll find phones such as the iQOO 7, Mi 11X, etc., which feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, so it seems like OnePlus Nord 2 is the company’s reply to those phones. If you don’t know yet, the phone comes with a Dimensity 1200 AI SOC which is comparable to the Snapdragon 870 in terms of performance. Moreover, there is a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED, a 50 Megapixel Sony IMX566 sensor with OIS, and OxygenOS 11 runs out of the box, which is based on an integrated codebase of OxygenOS & ColorOS.
