A few days back OnePlus 8 Series went official with a starting price of $699 for the OnePlus 8 and $899 for the OnePlus 8 Pro. Today, OnePlus announced the Indian pricing and the company has definitely surprised us with the pricing for the Indian market.

The OnePlus 8 comes in three storage options for the Indian market. So, the based variant comes with 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage and India is the first market to get the 6GB variant of OnePlus 8. Here is the pricing –

  • 6GB + 128GB – Rs 41,999 ($549)
  • 8GB + 128GB – Rs 44,999 ($589)
  • 12GB + 256GB – Rs 49,999 ($653)

It is impressive to see that the price of the top-end variant of OnePlus 8 is lower than $699, i.e., the starting price in the US.

The OnePlus 8 Pro comes in two storage options – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. Here is the pricing for India –

  • 8GB + 128GB – Rs 54,999 ($718)
  • 12GB + 256GB – Rs 59,999 ($783)

So, while the price of OnePlus 8 starts at $899 in the US, it is well under $800 for both the storage options here in the Indian market.

Well, OnePlus has definitely priced its OnePlus 8 Series pretty aggressively in India, especially the OnePlus 8 which will compete with Realme X50 Pro in terms of the price. Xiaomi Mi 10 series is also coming to India soon so let’s see at what price Xiaomi launches it now that OnePlus has priced its latest phones so aggressively.
