Just a week is now left for the launch of much awaited OnePlus 7 series, but so far, we didn’t get a chance to take a good look at the OnePlus 7, i.e., the non-Pro version. Now, the official press images of the phone showed up, revealing the design which remains mostly unchanged from last year. These OnePlus 7 press renders were shared by WinFuture, which is a very trusted source for leaks.
Starting with the front design, the OnePlus 7 looks the same as last year’s OnePlus 6 and 6T. So, there is a waterdrop notch on top that houses the front camera & the earpiece. Talking about the earpiece, the grill is bigger this time, hinting at stereo speakers, something that the “Pro” already has. The phone has a normal flat display unlike the “Pro” that features a curved OLED panel.
It is a 6.41-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ display (2340×1080 pixels) which means the resolution & the panel remains the same as last year. It cannot be said if the phone has a 90Hz OLED panel like its bigger brother.
The button placement also remains the same. So, there is an alert slider and power button on the right while the volume rockers & the SIM card tray is placed on the left. Under the hood, there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor & the phone has 6/8GB RAM along with 128/256GB storage.
Coming to the rear, the OnePlus 7 press renders reveal a dual camera setup that is slightly different in terms of the design as compared to that of the 6 and 6T. So this time, the flash is placed along with the two lenses in the same module. According to the source, there is a primary 48 Megapixel Sony IMX 586 sensor & a secondary 5MP camera, most probably a depth sensor. So, no wide-angle or telephoto camera on the normal OnePlus 7.
