Nokia 5.3 brings Quad cameras & Snapdragon 665 for €189

Alongside the Nokia 8.3 5G, the company also unveiled a couple of other phones & the Nokia 5.3 is one of them. We didn’t get any phone named Nokia 5.2 last year so, 5.3 is the successor of Nokia 5.1 Plus of 2018. The 5.3 features a design similar to the Nokia 8.3 5G, at least from the back. Priced at €189, it comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SOC, Quad cameras & Android 10 running out of the box.

NOKIA 5.3 – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS

Nokia 5.3 comes with a circular camera design on the rear that houses Quad cameras & the LED flash in it. The design is pretty unique compared to other smartphones with circular camera modules. The fingerprint scanner is also placed on the rear instead of on the side like the Nokia 8.3 5G.

On the front, there is a screen with a Waterdrop notch on top & a bottom chin that has the Nokia branding. It is a 6.55-inch LCD panel with 720p resolution & 20:9 aspect ratio. The SOC powering it is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 & there is 3/4/6GB RAM along with 64GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB.

The Quad rear cameras include a primary 13 Megapixel unit with f/1.8 aperture, a secondary 5 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a third 2 Megapixel macro camera & a 2 Megapixel depth sensor. There is an 8 Megapixel front-facing camera.

The phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery & 10W charging support via the USB Type-C port. Android 10 runs out of the box, and Nokia promises up to 3 years of software updates which is amazing.
