Motorola One Zoom to feature Snapdragon 675 & 5X Hybrid Zoom

Remember the Motorola One Pro? The phone that’s coming with Quad Cameras & whose press renders leaked a couple of months back? Well, it looks like Motorola has changed the name of the device & it will now launch as Motorola One Zoom. Why “Zoom”? Well, you’ll know as we talk about the specifications since the specifications & the pricing of the phone leaked today.

The Motorola One Zoom features a premium design with a glass back & there is a Quad Camera setup on the back, the first on any Motorola phone. There is a U-shaped notch on the front & there is no fingerprint scanner which suggests the phone has an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

Coming to the specifications that leaked today, the phone features a  6.2-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) panel with HDR support. The processor powering it is the Snapdragon 675, an 11nm SOC. The phone comes with 4/6GB RAM & 64/128GB storage.

The main highlight of the Motorola One Zoom is the camera & the same can be said by simply looking at the name of the phone. There is a Quad camera setup on the rear that includes a primary 48 Megapixel camera, a secondary 12MP camera (Most Likely a Wide-Angle Lens), a third 8MP camera (Most likely a Zoom Lens) & an unknown fourth sensor. Some camera features include Dual OIS, 5X Hybrid ZOOM & more.

On the front, there is a single 16MP camera placed in that U-Shaped cutout.

There is a 4,000mAh battery with TurboCharging & the phone runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box. The handset is around 9.8mm thick, so yes, it is not a very slim phone. The phone has USB Type-C port & a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom.

Finally, coming to the price, the Motorola One Zoom is reportedly coming with a price tag of €429 & it will launch at the IFA 2019 happening in Berlin in September.
