Motorola launched a new Motorola One series phone in India today, the Motorola One Macro. So, while the Motorola One Zoom focuses on the Optical Zoom capability, the main USP of One Macro is the dedicated Macro lens on the rear that allows you to get 5X close to the subject that you’re shooting. Now, apart from the cameras, there are also a lot of good things about the device like the powerful Helio P70 SOC, a 4,000mAh battery, stock Android etc.
MOTOROLA ONE MACRO – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
The Motorola One Macro has a display on the front with a Waterdrop notch & a big chin on the bottom. On the rear, there is a triple camera setup placed on the top left. The fingerprint scanner is also placed on the rear. There is a USB Type-C port on the bottom & the phone does have a headphone jack as well. There is a hybrid SIM card slot so you can add either two nano-SIM cards or a nano-SIM card & a microSD card.
Coming to the specifications, the Motorola One Macro features a 6.2-inch HD+ MaxVision display (1520*720) & is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SOC that has the Mali-G72 900Mhz GPU. There is 4GB DDR4 RAM & 64GB internal storage. The storage is expandable via microSD card up to 512GB.
Coming to the cameras, there is a triple camera setup on the back that includes a primary 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture & a 2MP dedicated Macro Lens with f/2.2 aperture. There is Laser Autofocus as well apart from the PDAF. On the front, there is an 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture. Some rear camera features include Auto HDR, High res zoom, Live filter, Shot optimisation, Smart composition, Auto smile capture, Cinemagraph, Portrait mode, etc.
For videos, there is EIS as well & the primary rear camera can shoot 1080p videos at 60fps & slow-motion videos at 120fps.
There is a 4,000mAh battery, but no fast charging support since the phone supports normal 10W Charging. Android 9 Pie runs out of the box.

The Motorola One Macro comes in Space Blue color. There is only one variant i.e., 4GB + 64GB & is priced at Rs 9,999. It is a Flipkart Exclusive phone in India & the sale starts on 12th October (00:00 Hrs).
