In December, we got our first look at the Moto G24 and Moto G34. Now, Motorola has announced that the G34 is launching in the Indian market on January 9. It is a budget 5G phone from the brand, and the company claims it to be the fastest in its segment.
The Moto G34 5G has a slightly different-looking camera module than the previous Motorola devices. The rest of the design is unchanged. There is a display with a hole punch cutout on the front, a flat frame, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
There are three color options – Ice Blue, Charcoal Black, and Ocean Green. The Ocean Green color has a vegan leather finish on the back.
There is a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a 720p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The chip is the Snapdragon 695 5G, and while you will see the brand mentioning this phone as the fastest in its segment, that’s among Motorola’s current budget lineup. The phone has 4GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The battery is 5,000mAh, and the phone comes with a 20W charger in the box. There are two rear cameras. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens, and the secondary camera has a 2MP sensor with a macro lens. The selfie camera has a 16MP sensor.
The phone runs on Android 14 out of the box and will get one major OS update.
Well, based on the specifications, we expect the Moto G34 5G to launch under ₹15,000. Anything above that is a tough sell.
