Motorola has launched a new budget phone in the Indian market, the Moto G24 Power. This is a non-5G phone from the brand with a starting price of ₹8,999. As the name suggests, the main USP of this device is its battery life, since the phone has a big 6,000mAh battery.
Design-wise, it is a good-looking device with a matte finish on the back, a unique camera module, flat sides, and a hole punch design on the front. There are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and the phone has an IP52 certification. The fingerprint scanner is on the side and doubles as the power button.
The display is a 6.56-inch LCD with a 720p resolution and up to 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone has the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. This SOC was launched in April 2020, so it’s been almost four years. The phone comes with 4GB or 8GB RAM, paired with 128GB or 256GB internal storage.
There are two rear cameras – a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the phone offers a 16MP camera.
The battery is 6,000mAh and the phone supports 30W fast charging.
Finally, the Moto G24 Power runs on Android 14 out of the box, and the company has promised one Android OS update.
Moto G24 Power comes in two colors – Glacier Blue, and Ink Blue. Here is the pricing for the Indian market –
- 4GB + 128GB – ₹8,999
- 8GB + 256GB – ₹9,999
