We got to know about the Legion Gaming Phone by Lenovo in February when the company teased it on Weibo. But, four months have passed since then & we still have no official word on the company on when the phone is launching. Last month, the unreleased teaser video of the phone revealed the design of it & today, the phone stopped by Geekbench with the model number “L79031”.
We know this is the Legion Gaming Phone because it passed through 3C with the same model number recently. Unsurprisingly, the phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G chipset & at least 8GB RAM. Android 10 is running out of the box.
Talking about the benchmark scores, the phone scores 914 on single-core & 3,392 on multi-core. These scores are similar to what other gaming phones with Snapdragon 865 score, for example, the Red Magic 5G.
As we know already, the phone comes with a 144Hz OLED display featuring 270Hz touch-response rate and Full-HD+ resolution. There is Snapdragon 865 SOC, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. Android 10 runs out of the box with ZUI 12 on top. The dual cameras on the rear include a primary 64 Megapixel camera paired with a 16 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
There is a side-facing pop-up mechanism that houses the 20 Megapixel selfie camera. Finally, the star of the show is the mind-blowing 90W Fast Charging which can charge the 5,000mAh battery of Legion Gaming Phone in mere 30 minutes.
We still have no information on the launch date yet so stay tuned.
