Lava Yuva 3 Pro is the latest budget phone from the company and the successor to the Lava Yuva 2 Pro, launched in February. The Yuva 2 Pro was a good value-for-money phone, featuring a premium glass back design, a Helio G37 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, and more for ₹7,999. The Yuva 3 Pro follows the footsteps of its predecessor and brings some significant upgrades for just ₹1,000 extra.
Design-wise, the Lava Yuva 3 Pro has a glass back and comes in three beautiful colors. The camera module design reminds us of the Galaxy S21 series. The phone has flat sides, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C port on the bottom, and a bottom-firing speaker.
On the front, the phone has a display with a hole punch cutout, instead of a waterdrop notch. This is a 6.5-inch 720p IPS LCD with up to a 90Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the phone has the UNISOC T616 chipset, which scores up to 250,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark. This is a 12nm-based SOC, featuring an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at up to 2.0GHz, and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 1.8GHz. The phone has 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.
The battery is 5,000mAh, and there is 18W fast charging support. The 18W adapter is provided in the box.
The phone has a 50MP primary camera sensor on the rear and an 8MP selfie camera. Finally, Android 13 runs out of the box.
Lava Yuva 3 Pro comes in three colors – Forest Viridian, Desert Gold, and Meadow Purple. There is only one configuration (8GB + 128GB), and the price is ₹8,999. The phone is already available to buy from the company’s official website and retail stores.
