The iQOO Z9s Pro is now official in the Indian market, and this is a mid-range smartphone from the brand with a focus on design and performance. In our previous article, we discussed the iQOO Z9s, which has the Dimensity 7300 chipset and a large 5,500mAh battery. The Z9s Pro offers better specifications for not such a big increase in pricing.
Design-wise, the iQOO Z9s Pro looks quite similar to the iQOO 12. There is a similar-looking camera module in the top left corner on the back. There is a ring LED flash and a dual camera setup. On the front, the phone has a curved display with a hole punch cutout. Like the iQOO Z9s, the Z9s Pro is made of polycarbonate.
Under the hood, the phone has the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, built on the 4nm process. This SOC scores over 800,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark, which is one of the highest in this price segment. The RAM is LPDDR4X, and the storage is UFS 2.2. The battery is 5,500mAh and the phone supports 80W fast charging.
The dual camera setup on the back includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor for the primary camera and an 8MP sensor for the ultrawide camera. The selfie camera has a 16MP sensor.
The display is a 6.77-inch 120Hz AMOLED with a Full-HD+ resolution and 4,500 nits peak brightness.
Finally, Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14 runs out of the box.
