iQOO Z3 launch in India set to take place on the 8th of June

It will be India's first Snapdragon 768G-powered phone!

A couple of days ago, iQOO teased the launch of its “Z3” smartphone in India, and today, the company announced the launch date. The phone is coming to the Indian market on the 8th of June. It is worth mentioning that iQOO Z3 is already available in the Chinese market as it launched there two months ago. This is a mid-range phone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768 5G SOC, and this is the main USP of it since it makes it India’s first Snapdragon 768G-powered device.

From the front, Z3 doesn’t look like a mid-range phone of 2021 since it has a display with a waterdrop notch. And if you think they did this to go for an AMOLED panel, then you’re wrong since the phone has an LCD. It is a 6.58-inch 120Hz LCD with Full-HD+ resolution. There is Snapdragon 768G 5G chipset under the hood, and it is built on the 7nm manufacturing process. The phone packs a 4,400mAh battery and supports 55W fast charging.

In terms of the cameras, there are three on the rear that includes a primary 64 Megapixel shooter paired with an 8 Megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2 Megapixel macro sensor. There is a 16 Megapixel selfie shooter. Finally, Android 11 runs out of the box.

We don’t know the exact price yet, but the expected starting price is Rs 25K. At this price, it would be a great device to get since most of the phones at this price offer the Snapdragon 750G or the 765G SOC.
