iQOO Z1 5G renders shared by the company, rear design revealed

MediaTek unveiled its Dimensity 1000+ 5G chipset a few days back & at the unveiling, iQOO announced that it would be the first to launch a smartphone powered by this SOC. We know that it is the iQOO Z1 5G & today, the company shared the official renders of the phone showing off its rear design. Unsurprisingly, the rear design similar to the other iQOO devices launched this year, i.e., iQOO 3 & iQOO Neo3.

iQOO revealed that the phone comes in at least two color options, and the Google Translate revealed the names of the color options as Space Blue and Galaxy Silver. As we can see, there is a triple camera setup on the rear & it is placed in a rectangular camera housing on the top left. In fact, if you compare the camera setup design, there is no different at all between the iQOO Z1 5G & iQOO Neo3 5G.

Just like the Neo3 5G, there is a side-facing fingerprint reader on the Z1 which means the phone has an LCD panel. iQOO has already revealed that there is 144Hz display on the Z1 which means the display is also the same as the Neo3. So, it seems as if all that’s changed is the SOC, from Snapdragon 865 on the Neo3 to the Dimensity 1000+ on the iQOO Z1 5G.

The phone is launching in China on May 19th so let’s see at what price the company launches it since the Neo3 starts at 2,698 Yuan in China.
