iQOO 9T is officially launching in India on August 2

It is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC

Recently, the iQOO 10 series launched in China, including the iQOO 10 & the iQOO 10 Pro. Both phones are powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. In case you do not know yet, the iQOO 10 is launching in the Indian market as the iQOO 9T. Today, iQOO announced the launch date for the Indian market. So, the phone is launching in India on the 2nd of August. The company also claims that this is “India’s most powerful smartphone,” but of course, there is an ‘asterisk,’ and that means iQOO is talking about phones priced under 55K in the Indian market.

So yeah, the main USP of iQOO 9T is performance since it is packing the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SOC, which is the most powerful chip by Qualcomm right now. This chipset offers significant improvement in power efficiency and thermal performance over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 since it is built on the TSMC’s 4nm process. Apart from the chip, the phone has a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1500 nits brightness. There is a 4,700mAH battery and support for 120W fast charging.

The triple camera setup includes a 50MP Samsung GN5 sensor with OIS, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor with a 2X telephoto lens. The phone also has the Vivo V1+ imaging chip that we saw on the Vivo X80 series.

In the Chinese market, iQOO 10 starts at ¥3699, which translates to around ₹43,600. But, as per various reports, the iQOO 9T is launching in India at approximately ₹50,000.
